is there a way to open the game in full screen? ^^' very hard to concentrate on small-sized window and letters

Not at the moment as the game is meant to be played in windowed mode . I could add an option to force it to full screen if you need it but the image will be blurry if you do.

Also, you can try scaling the text using the accessibility menu (press A to open).

MILO.

MILO, MY ADORABLE SQUISHY BEAN.

MY LOVE.

The extended demo is SOOOOOOO GOOD! I loved getting to learn more about the characters and story (UMMM AND MEET MILO OFC). I love the dialogue so much. It's very natural while still being quirky and fun. And I love how all the characters play off of each other, especially Q being his very cynical self most of the time hahaha. I LOVED THE PART WHEN Q GOT ALL DISTRESSED AND HIS HEART WAS BEATING SO LOUD LOLOLOL. Oh, and I loved the little phone message part, too! Such a cute little addition! I hope there will be more!

The little minigame was cute! It was a fun way to bring in some interactivity without being anything that was like, frustrating or difficult. I got so confused the first time with the tiny range to click, but then it made sense the second time hahaha, so that was a nice little touch! AND A VERY CUTE CG OF MILO AND Q. MY HEART.

Guh.

ANYWAY.

LOVED EVERYTHING ABOUT THIS, THANKS. CAN'T WAIT FOR MORE <3333

(Btw, I loved Milo a lot.)

Oh yeah I forgot to mention I loved how the title screen updated, too!! I noticed it after completing the demo!!

Ahhh, thank you so much for all the praise, it warms my heart to know that you enjoyed it ;w;

I'm so happy you liked Milo! I was worried if they'd live up to expectations after I teased them in the previous demo and on Twitter, but this is reassuring ^^ You can expect a lot more of them (and about them) in the future updates. <3

Also, yes, there will be more phone messages! They're a pain to make but the format adds some flavor to the story and the characters so I think it's worth it. ^^

Thank you so much again, I hope you like what's in store for the full release, too ^^

theres 6 silhouettes but theres only 3 characters beside mc, is there other 3 characters or the 4 is the full lineup?

Hi, there are actually close to 20 characters total in the game, but there are only 5 in the demo (at the moment).

The seven from the cover are the most important ones (including the four with character profiles) ^^

oh nice, more to pick

Well, just to be clear, it's not really a dating sim. ^^;
There are choices to be made and paths to explore, but it's more about the story than it is about wooing love interests.

Hi! So I played the demo and congrats, it's very good!

First, I'd like to mention the quality of the work you put in the expressions of your characters (you clearly took in consideration body language in the different poses you gave the characters, which really helps them be more interesting). So, although your demo is 15-20min-long, they already have some depth.

Also, great job with the soundtrack and the use of it! It was always appropriate and really made the whole look more "cinematic". The tracks are also lovely.

And so is the art: the character designs and the expressions really got me in. The CG is lovely and I love Quentin's expression in it. I also appreciated your use of backgrounds!

Finally, the story seems interesting (the conflict between a more militaristic aspect and magic will surely develop into something great) and I can't wait to get to know more of the characters! I'll admit I'm not sure to understand why Quentin accepts this whole "secret mage society" and magic in general that quickly and easily, which made the scene a bit strange to me (but maybe I misread a line or something?): but the characters' interactions were so pleasant it eventually became a minor detail and clearly didn't stop me from really enjoying the scene and the demo.

So, congrats, that's excellent, and I would never have believed it was your first game if you didn't say so! And I'm excited to see more of it in early 2023!

Ahhh, I'm very flattered, thank you. ^^

I really wanted the characters to be different from each other, so they each have a unique set of expressions and poses (and no limit on those either, I just make more when I need them), so it's nice to know it's shining through. ^^

As for the fact that Q accepts it all maybe too quickly… I never really thought about it that way, to be quite honest, though I guess he is kind of a 'go with the flow' guy and lets people drag him into stuff (even if he's reluctant about it at times).

I'm very happy you enjoyed it, though! I hope the full release meets your expectations when it comes out. ^^

With a cinematic soundtrack, cute and expressive characters, and a cool mix of a secret agent-y looking prologue into a fantasy style first chapter, I'm excited to see where this story is going.

I adored the attention to detail in this demo like the little bouncy animations the characters do, as well as the other animations.

Quentin's complaints over the struggle of a web developer hit too close to home, making him a very relatable main character, haha.

Also... THE SNAKE IS SO CUTE!

Hey, thank you so much for playing! I'm very happy you liked the demo and the characters (especially Penny). ^^

To be honest, I was wondering if Q is relatable enough as the main character, but I'm glad to hear that he is (even if just in part). I'm a freelancer myself, so these experiences are not unfamiliar to me, either. ^^

LOVE the demo and the game so far! The art is fantastic. I love the art style and how the sprites have so much emotion and so many different expressions. Especially all the little bits of animation??? Like the little bounces and their arm movements, etc. My favorite so far was when Q just stood there and blinked in front of the ruins lol. And the CG with Q, June, and Wren was so cute and well done!

The music is superb! It's really cinematic?? Like it has a bunch of actual musical cues according to what's playing on the screen or what pops up that gives it a real "film" feel almost, which is really neat. That coupled with all the little animations and movements the sprites do makes it feel like I'm watching an animated show or something, which I love. It's very immersive!

Writing and story are great. Q is the perfect cynical/skeptical MC and I already love him. I'm also super intrigued because the part at the very beginning feels very... scientific? Military-esque? Like a scifi almost. But then we get to the magic society and it jumps to fantasy! So I'm really curious how these two different worlds are going to eventually collide. ALSO I'M JUST A SUCKER FOR MAGIC SCHOOLS, SO. I already love that whole aspect of it and I can't wait to see Q learning how to use magic and what all of it will entail and how magic will work in this world. I WANTED TO SEE MILO THOUGH BECAUSE I ALREADY KNOW THEY'RE ADORABLE FROM THE ART I'VE SEEN. I guess I'll have to wait LOL I hope you'll eventually release an expanded demo before the release of the first full part as I'd really love to get more glimpses of the chars and story sooner!

Overall, just fantastic. Absolutely loving it so far and really curious what's going to happen next. Already love the characters and can't wait to see more of their stories!

First of all, thank you so much for this very kind review, to say that I'm grateful doesn't even begin to describe it.

I'm DELIGHTED you liked the art and the animations 'cause a lot of effort went into those, but maybe even more so that you found the story interesting and want to see what's next. I can only hope I can meet your expectations. ^^

Plus, I am definitely considering making the extended version to let Milo have their grand entrance, as well. ^^ Third quarter of the year, if everything goes well? We'll see.

Thank you so much once again, it really means a lot. <3
